Our recording studio is thirty minutes inland from Oceanside on the 76, and the coast traffic stays behind you. Two rooms built for sound, an Avid Pro Tools Certified engineer, and one rate with everything included: $75 an hour.
Take the 76 east to Fallbrook, then Mission Road to Green Briar Lane. About 30 minutes from the pier, 20 from the main gate at Pendleton. Parking on site. Sessions and tours are by appointment, seven days a week.
Also an easy run from Camp Pendleton, Carlsbad, Vista and Bonsall.
I'm going to be honest with you. Everyone in Fallbrook calls our town a "Friendly Village." As much as we love our village, I find myself in Oceanside often. There is no In-N-Out Burger in Fallbrook, so when I get hungry my truck takes me down the 76 to Frazee Road to satisfy my cravings. I swear it does so on autopilot.
There are a few options for audio and video production in Oceanside, and some nice folks who are part of those businesses. Trouble is, the cost of space and property there makes it difficult for them to give you a roomy, comfortable place to create, and plenty of easy parking so you don't have to wheel your gear half a mile down the sidewalk to load in.
I love Oceanside. The beach, the cool surf-side businesses and cafes. I can only wish we had so many options in Fallbrook. I come visit you often, how about you come visit us? There's at least one place in Fallbrook you've really got to see to believe.

Why make the drive
You don't need a recording studio. You need a tribe.
Hip-hop and R&B artists from the coast, Marines and Navy families stationed at Pendleton who write and record on their own time, punk and rock bands that want to track live together, and singer-songwriters who've outgrown the home setup.
— An engineer who does this every day, not a friend learning on your song
— A 21×18 live room, two booths and a 22×20 control room, built for sound
— Gear that is maintained, built and recapped in-house
— One rate, everything included, no surprises at the end
