Music video production at Sonic-Rocket doesn't start with a price tag. It starts with an idea. What's your story? Who's your audience? What do you want them to see, feel, and remember?
These are the shapes we have made before. Hover or tap a card to see one we made. Every one is planned and priced together at a free video consultation, so you pay for what the idea needs and nothing else.
Something we can do quickly: a run-through, a lip-sync or a voice-over at the end of a session. Our new SonicVPS system captures a quick performance for your social feeds at an extremely affordable price.
Live, in-studio videos are fun and can be done relatively quickly, depending on the complexity of your setup. Schedule a video consultation to talk through the best way to show off your art, and consider a live-stream event to go with it.
Elevate your brand by taking your podcast's image to the next level. We've all seen too many influencers with ring lights in their eyes trying to convince you they're pros.
Gone are the days when people just read about your business or brand. Seeing is believing. Put your best image and personality front and center with a brand video.
Music video production: big ideas, not big budgets.
Forty-five years have passed since the Buggles opened MTV with "Video Killed the Radio Star." Today, compelling video is essential for musicians and businesses alike. Without it: RIP. Done right, it's more than content. It's a chance to take your audience somewhere they've never been.
01
The problem
Great video is often ridiculously expensive. Your choices seem to be shooting it yourself on a phone or spending thousands on a professional production.
02
Option #3
At Sonic-Rocket, we believe in option #3: creativity over cost. Let's trade big budgets for big ideas. Use ingenuity instead of an army.
03
Spend where it counts
Leverage our resources, tap into talented friends, and spend money where it actually makes a difference. No one-size-fits-all approach.
What we bring
The gear, the rooms and the people.
We've got the cameras, lights, audio gear, and production talent to deliver exceptional results. What we don't have is a one-size-fits-all approach. That's why we meet first.
— Cinema cameras, PTZ multi-camera rigs and lighting in both rooms
— Studio-grade sound on every shoot, because we are a recording studio first
— Two rooms built to look as good as they sound, plus locations we know
— Videographers, editors and talented friends brought in per project
— A plan and a number before anyone picks up a camera
That's why we're meeting: to explore your vision, kick around ideas, and figure out how to make something special without breaking the bank. We plan the project phase by phase, and payment is spread across the phases too, so each payment stays low and the work keeps moving.
Step 1
Planning session
A free hour at the studio. Your story, your audience, what you want them to feel. Bring a song, a script, links you like, a napkin sketch.
Step 2
The plan and the number
We come back with a treatment, a schedule and a price that fits the idea, with the places we can save spelled out.
Step 3
Shoot
In the studio, on location or both. Our gear, our crew and the friends the project calls for.
Step 4
Edit and deliver
Cuts for the platforms you actually use, with revisions agreed up front. Masters and clips delivered together.
How we plan
Magic is in the preparation.
Preparation is how we keep creativity ahead of cost. It is often helpful to storyboard and time each shot to the song before the camera rolls, so the crew, the cast and the locations are only booked for the hours we need, nothing is reshot, and the picture you had in your head is the one you get. The planning is where the money is saved and the result is decided. Here is our award-winning Sacred Heart, from the storyboard to the finished film.
